Former academy director and exclusive CandH blogger Terry Westley reckons two or three of his former youngsters may have a big night ahead of them on Thursday evening and in this piece tells us which of them he believes we may see in action against Dinamo Zagreb.

The situation surrounding Ogbonna and Zouma is of course horrible and a real problem for the squad as they push for honours but it with it being a dead rubber on Thursday evening it’s going to give the boss a good chance to look at some kids.
And in my book the two most likely to start will be Harrison Ashby at right back and Jamal Baptiste in the centre of defence. It won’t be a gamble because both are very good players indeed and remember we are unlikely to see Dinamo bring their best squad.
Regular readers of my CandH columns know I have enormous regard for Jermaine who is a strong powerful player – favouring his left side – and very good on the ball. Harrison too is a terrific defender in the same mould who is also lethal at set pieces.
player I’m taking no credit for this – not my way – but Sonny Perkins was my final signing signing at the club when I brought him in from Leyton Orient when they fell out of the League. My head of recruitment had wanted him and I decided to take my own look and I have no doubt he has a real future with us.
He has a bit of the Lingard about him and I think he will be involved on Thursday along with another left sided defended Ajibola Alese. who has had a couple of years out on loan but is now back and creating a big impression
I know none of them will let anyone down and I want them all to grab their chances big time if and when they get it.
