We’ve got Pele

CollinsJames Collins showed he remains a firm favourite with the fans after they invented a new take on the Dimitri Payet Song. Supporters in the Sir Trevor Brooking lower stand sung “We’ve Pele, Ginger Pele! I just don’t think you understand. He’s Super Slavs man, he’s better than Zidane. We’ve got Ginger Pele!”

The Ginger Pele was warming up at the time in front of the Sir Trevor Brooking and West stand. When he stopped to tie his boot laces a young Hammers fan approached him to chat with him and Collins immediately gave him his training top as a memento.

Collins came on for a cameo role in the 93rd minute as Bilic ran the clock down to the Hammer’s 3-1 win over Watford.

  1. Surely our supporters can come up with something more original.Ginge deserves his own song instead of keep remixing the payet song.

  2. My god sometimes people take things too seriously. It was done humourously, just a bit of fun.Ginge loved it,he was smiling & loving it.

  3. Given the lyrical talent available, surely someone could come up with a unique version – perhaps incorporating the line “he’s better than Bale”…

  4. ahah… I know The Chemical Brothers and David Guetta are working on a new remix dedicated to Ginge… it will be played at “Pacha” in Ibiza for the first time… lol 😉
