Nuno Espírito Santo has offered a rare injury boost ahead of West Ham’s crucial clash with Wolves, with several key players now expected to return.

Crysencio Summerville, Jean-Clair Todibo, Callum Wilson, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Konstantinos Mavropanos could all be back in contention for Friday’s home game — a fixture that carries huge importance at this stage of the season.

Return news confirmed after earlier reports

It had been rumoured all week that the Hammers would have a full complement of players for the crucial relegation clash. The news was first revealed by ExWHUEmployee on Monday, but it carries more weight hearing it confirmed directly by the manager.

Jean Clair Todibo is not believed to have a serious injury

Nuno opens up in uncharacteristic press conference

It was an interesting press conference from Nuno, who ordinarily prefers to keep his cards close to his chest. On this occasion, however, he appeared willing to offer a more positive update, rather than lean into the usual secrecy and mind games.

Todibo recovery explained after Leeds absence

The West Ham boss also went into detail explaining Jean-Clair Todibo’s route back after his surprise absence from the squad against Leeds United.

“I think he’s reacted well in recent weeks. When he got the red card [against Chelsea] he was in a good moment, and the team was in a good moment. Unfortunately, we missed him for three games, but he came back.

Then, he suffered a setback in the warm-up against Aston Villa, but he’s been recovering well. He’s always positive, he’s a very positive boy, and we’re looking forward to having him back with us.”
