What to expect on transfer deadline day

valencia Like every year, the summer window officially opened on July 1st, but players, agents and the clubs were discussing contract terms and final fees long before then. The transfer window will slam shut on tonight at 11.30pm. Unlike last year, there will be no emergency loan window, and no separate deadline day for loans. Any loan deals must be completed by the end of the normal transfer window on August 31st.

So what rumours will be expect to see during the course of the next 16 hours.

Good chance Enner Valencia will be loaned to Swansea but expect him to be linked to three or four other clubs

Expect Pedro Obiang to be linked to a move to Italy with four clubs interested

Obiang Expect Diafra Sakho to be linked to West Bromwich Albion again possibly as a loan with an option to buy

Expect to be linked with lots of lots of right backs with the wolves right back Dominic Iorfa leading the pack. We have a short list of three right backs but the other two have yet to emerge.

Expect the Angelo Ogbonna to Chelsea rumour to be touted out again

Expect mischief makers to suggest Dimitri Payet is on his way to a big club today.

Expect us to be linked with a loan of another striker if Sakho or Valencia go today.

And the transfer deadline day will not be complete unless we will linked with a few wingers and midfielders for good measure even though we don’t need any 😉

What to expect on transfer deadline day? Continual moaning,players described as mingers, the board blamed for not buying Messi, why did we move stadium and lady Brady’s dress sense all to be discussed at Daphne’s Wednesday coffee and cake meeting? 🙂
