It’s a topic that has been debated relentlessly but we never tire of offering our views! Who was the best ever Hammer?

Bill Bonds was 77 this week and one of the true greats of our beloved club so he will be high in the rankings and of course Bobby Moore is the name that springs into many minds when the question is posed.

Trevor Brooking, Geoff Hurst and of course Trevor Brooking will have their followers along of course with Paolo Di Canio and The Terminator Julian Dicks.

There have been other greats such as Alan Devonshire, Phil Parkes, Tony Cottee and Frank McAvennie. Then there’s Alvin Martin and Tony Gale,.

So the choice is there and some will find it difficult, others very easy, We just want your votes and will let you know the result tomorrow.
