Will he, won’t he join? – don’t care!

W

I’ve read this morning that Jesse Lingard will leave Manchester United, that he won’t leave Manchester United and that if he does the Old Trafford club will want £20 million (Daily Express)

£20 million is a ridiculous figure given that he has only six months left on his deal and the reality is that everybody is guessing anyway.

As we reported last week nobody inside West Ham has a clue what the guy is gonna do and frankly I have come to a point where I don’t care one way or the other.

David Moyes likes him for sure but our understanding is that he is no closer to agreeing a deal with him than he was when he left the club after his loan spell.

Personally, I’d sooner see him depart elsewhere. He has shown no interest in the Hammers as far as I can see and after a less than impressive second half to his loan spell I would far sooner see Nikola Vlasic get his chance.

  1. Really lukewarm about him – mainly because that is exactly what he has been about our club. He has made it clear several times that he has no interest in West Ham, and they always say in those circumstances let them go. We bought Vlasic – play him. Sign a striker and a defender, not Lingard. He is using us.
