It won’t get any easier after the international break will it?
Manchester City at home and Liverpool away is as tough as it gets followed by a banana skin Cup match at Lincoln and Sheffield United at home. Along the way there is a Europa Cup match thrown in!
The upside of the two matches immediately after the break is that they will surely tell us where the Hammers are in terms of the season and whether they can maintain the level of form which has put them where they are right now.
I’m normally pretty good at giving a gobby opinion but I honestly don’t know where we stand in those terms at the moment.
City can be difficult top read as we saw over the last two games when they struggled to beat Sheffield United away before thrashing Fulham at home.
Liverpool are unbeaten at home and put three past Bournemouth and Villa so who knows what will go off there but with some – if not a lot of confidence – I’m going for draws against those two, a win at Linciooln and a win over Sheffield United. FIVE POINTS!
Opinions please and COME ON YOU IRONS!
I’ll go along wirh your assessment, although I think we might get something over City, or the scousers. Feeling optimistic.
Don’t know why, but I’m feeling well nick the win at home v City, but can’t see us getting anything other than a pasting at Anfield. Three points against the Blades is a decent 6point return tho 👍 and onto the next round of the cup where we draw City again!!!
