Wilshere drops a Twitter Hammers hint

|

Jack Wilshire may have dropped a heavy hint as to where his future lies…West Ham United.

The Arsenal midfielder is rumoured to have rejected a new three year contract at the Emirates after weeks of negotiation with the club.

And following the arrival of new boss Unai Emery it seems that negotiations may have finally have broken down with the club.

Now,  if a change of social media allegiances can be trusted, these moves may suggest he will be on his way to the London Stadium this summer

For over the last few hours the 26 year old midfielder has removed the word Arsenal from his Instagram and Twitter accounts – describing himself simply as a professional footballer.

And for the first time he has started  following West Ham United and Mark Noble.

He also counts Aaron Cresswell and former Hammers hero Dean Ashton among those with whom he has a connection on social media.

Interesting days ahead.

Get Wiltshire signed up he would be a good signing

Thanks guys for the update on Zaha, unreal I was wondering why there was no fuss about him not being selected. In relation to the comment on watching Wilshere this year and he being one of arsenals best midfielders, firstly I have watched him and he was terrible. Btw Arsenal have some great midfielders, Xhaka comes to mind, I suppose you think he is a good player too lol lol

Not massively keen on Xhaka, don’t see him as bening any better then obiang tbh.

Arsenal do have some good midfielders, Ozil, Ramsey, Mkhitaryam.

    • colejamesuk123 says:

And to say he is terrible is crazy, you may not want to sign him.

However terrible?? Are you sure, i’m not saying he’s world class or anything, but hes not terrible.

Small point John,Zaha chose to play for the Ivory Coast.

    • colejamesuk123 says:

Yep John. Zaha chose Ivory Coast. When Roy Hodgson decided he wasn’t good enough for England.

Now he’s Roys best player, the “Ivory” in that is brilliant.

I think he would be a good signing, I have always liked him as a player. Its only his injury’s which worry’s me. Although he has had 38 apps this season. Lanzini has had 29.

If you watched him play this season, he was one of arsenals best midfielders.

He would be a terrible signing – he can’t defend, he does not have the legs to get up and down the pitch, the amount of times he does not do his defensive duties leading to goals in games is incredible. If anyone thinks this guy will move us to the next level then I am afraid to say you are wrong. He would be a terrible signing and a very expensive one. He was rightly left out of the England squad and the new arsenal manager does not want him. I don’t think they are wrong. Bournemouth did not even want him back – I hope I have made the case for not signing him. He can’t play in a two and I believe Mario or lanzini are far better players off the striker. Btw I cant believe that Zaha was left out of the England squad – now there is a proper West Ham type player.

He could provide great company for AC in the treatment room.

    • West Ham Fan No 32 says:

You are probably right Sparrow, I think most of Wilshere’s problems like AC’s are self induced due to his lifestyle, last season he did seem to start taking his health more seriously and was less injured, he will be missed at the World Cup but Southgate was clearly of the same opinion about his health / fitness, he has that magic ability to pick out the spaces that players can exploit though and unlock defences, I don’t think there is another midfielder in the England set up that has that, plus he is a proper Hammer so he might produce more for us than he ever did for Arsenal and in theory his best years are still ahead of him, of all those linked so far if he could stay fit he would be my number one choice.
