Wilshere gets hour’s action on his return

|

West Ham’s under 23s escaped form the bottom three of Premier League 2 Divisioon One today in a game which saw Jack Wilshere get 60 minutes of action.

I may only be  a temporary respite from the team’s relegation fears as  Spurs and Blackburn playing tomorrow and on the same 22 points.

However, Wilshere’s return was encouraging and confirms his quotes of a couple of weeks back that he should be fit for action before the end of the season.

The midfielder demonstrated some fine footwork during is 60 odd minutes on the pitch but had to play second fiddle to young Dan Kemp who produced a fine performance as he bids to break into the first team squad.

He is currently one of the candidates for Premier League Two player of the month and eventually grabbed the goal which saw off the Foxes. It came from the spot as he stepped up to calmly convert after being brought down.
