So thanks to the entire waste of West Ham space Jack Wilshere we get another needless interview in a week and a day of interviews we could have done without.

David Sullivan was torn apart here and elsewhere for his talkSport chat with Jim White whilst Karen Brady’s column in the Sun regarding Hull City was, shall we say, something that should have been kept in house.

We at Candh of course realise just how tribal football can become and rarely get out of our cages unless we believe something has been done which is just plain WRONG!

We gave both the chairman and his vice chairman our very strong thoughts on their forays into the media.

We will do again if it’s necessary and we will never be shy on giving an opinion for fear or favour – it’s the way this business works.

Good or bad – tell it as it is! We don’t expect to be on the Christmas card list of either but, there we are. you can’t have everything in this world when you speak out.

Now to Wilshere, who just to remind ourselves, is in the last year of a contract worth nearly £14 million which is just under £1 million for each of the 16 PL appearances he has made so far.

For reasons unknown The Times decided to seek an interview on his West Ham life which frankly is of no interest to anyone given it barely exists on the field of play.

None of that would have mattered but he then chose to weigh himself in on the sale of Grady Diangana.

It’s old news, it’s gone, we’ve all had our say and in a week when the publicity has been as negative as it could have been is a subject which should have been put to bed.

But up pops Wilshere declaring nearly a week later in recalling the Mark Noble’s tweet  that “Nobes was speaking for the whole team.”

My immediate response as he then detailed his and the team’s thoughts was: “Then if it’s the captain’s sole right what the hell are you doing talking about it?

Personally, I would sooner all this stuff from Noble, Sullivan and Brady had been kept in house – hanging your dirty washing in public has never been a great idea but when it comes from the likes of Wilshere doing the hanging it’s pretty disgraceful.

The man hasn’t played a decent game for the club and has stolen one hell of a living these last two and a bit years so should he consider saying anything else may I just say: “Shut it Wilshere – you are the wrong person in the wrong place at the wrong time to say anything.”
