Winston opens up

winston-reid-west-ham-united_3009997Winston Reid may be unready to discuss his new contract but it seems he’s happy to discuss all other things Hammers …and that’s surely a positive sign!

The central defender has been talking about the recent form with www.whufc.com in an embracing interview  and declares: “We need to stick to the basics that we’ve doing so well. Keep improving as a team and individuals, and we’ll do well.”

And he added: “”I think top ten is a reasonable aim, we’ve got the squad to do that with the new players that have come in. It’s really depends on us, it’s in our hands.”

He sees this afternoon’s game as one to approach with caution saying: “We’ll approach the game in the same way we do every game. We analyse our positions, the opposition and see what their strengths and weaknesses are.

“Like every team they’ll areas we can exploit. It’ll be a tough game, they always are against newly promoted teams, especially away but we’re all looking forward to it after a long international break.”
