West Ham go into the clash against Wolves on Sunday with an entirely clean bill of health – beyond Jack Wilshere of course – far as the regular first team squad is concerned.
We understand that the final player with a fitness issue – Andriy Yarmolenko – will be available if required but as reported yesterday the only likely change will be Tomas Soucek for either Mark Noble or Pablo Fornals.
Most would expect the captain to be on the bench with the rapidly improving Spaniard set to join a midfield including Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen with manager David Moyes now appearing to have found his favoured starting X1 and formation.
Yarmolenko looks likely to be out of the first team starting picture for some time to come with Bowen looking set for a regular spot on the right side.
The Hammers can’t complain at how the cards are falling in their direction with Wolves involved in behind closed doors action against Olympiacos on Thursday.
The Greek government has enforced a temporary suspension of spectators attending sporting events due to the outbreak of Covid-19.
Wolves explained in a statement that Olympiacos had “sought clarification” whether the last-16 fixture would be affected by the sporting event suspension to run from March 9 to March 22, and were unable to stage the contest as normal.
How about Wheelchair? Surely he can’t be fit, can he?!
Why don’t you try reading the article properly. I think you’ll find the clue is where it says – beyond Jack Wilshere.
Sir, yes Sir…
