Wrighty, Moncs & the Sandwich episode

|

Former Hammer Ian Wright describes the West Ham dressing room as the funniest he has ever been involved in his career. Wrighty recalls his time as a Hammer with John Moncur, Razor Ruddock, John Hartson, Rio Ferdinand, Frank Lampard and Paolo Di Canio in the Hammers dressing room. He tells how Paolo was really quite serious and they weren’t. One story he tells is away at Southampton and “Harry Redknapp is trying to hold a meeting. John Moncur is standing up in the middle eating sandwiches while Harry is trying slaughter us, him and Harry start arguing then Jonhny got the sandwiches, threw all the sandwiches on the wall and what was funny about it was the late Marc-Vivien FoĆ© was sitting there next to me and Razor Ruddock and he had a sandwich lodged on his face and he just kept it there, Ham sandwich just stuck on his face, it didn’t move.”

We know the video is two years old but it is the first time we have seen it and it did make us smile.
