Yarmo on highest of highs for Sevilla

Andriy Yarmolenko is surely going to replace Mikey Antonio against Sevilla if the Jamaica international isn’t fit.

He is set for scans today on the injury that saw him subbed off in the 2-1 win over Aston Villa at the weekend.

Yarmolenko replaced Mikey after he limped off and scored the opening goal of the game, a brilliant finish after controlling Said Benrahma’s cross and shooting on the spin with the outside of his boot.

He will surely be on the highest of highs after his goal against Villa, after which he let out a burst of guttural emotion.

If Mikey can’t play against Sevilla, which we aren’t sure about at this point, then the replacement surely has to be Andriy, who reminded everyone of his quality with that superb strike at the weekend.

He will be riding the crest of a wave of emotion and is likely to be champing at the bit to play against Sevilla in the second leg of their Europa League Round of 16 clash.
