Young star tipped to make strong return

nathanhollandTerry Westley has made it clear that rising star Nathan Holland will return fitter and stronger after surgery on a ruptured hamstring.

The right sided midfielder was looking very much in the running for a place in the team at Watford but instead found himself under the surgeon’s knife.

And his academy boss said: “Westley said: “Nathan has undergone surgery and it has been successful. The surgeon is very happy and now he needs to recover.

“There is never a good time to get injured and he is bitterly disappointed as he will miss out on the chance to show David Moyes and Alan Irvine – two people he knows from his time at Everton – what he can do over the next few weeks.

“But I know that Nathan will return stronger when he is fit to play again around February. He will stay close to the group, and we will send him to games.

“He will watch a lot of football and focus on that side of his development during the time he’ll be off the pitch.”

  1. If all these players are going to come back “fitter and stronger” after injuries and surgery, why don’t we just injure them all at training on a regular basis? They will end up the fittest and strongest squad in the PL.

  2. mmm.. Can’t argue with that …. but why do we have so many injuries in training and players coming back in when not fully recovered ? Need to look at medical staff… lets not forget that Capt Bloody awful claimed hernias were the cause of his bad form … haha .. we all know better . … What is his excuse now ??

  3. They,ve removed the spitfire bubbles ? He left his legs in it when he went for a burger ! It took him so long to get back to it that it was lifted by Newham council for illegal parking 😂

  4. Loitering without intent I reckon .
