You’re getting sacked in the morning

A Sky Sports video clip shot at the London Stadium has gone viral by suggesting Phil Jones joined in a chorus ‘You’re getting sacked in the morning’

Thousands of West Ham fans sung: ‘Your’e getting sacked into the morning’ to manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a dismal display by the Red Devils on Sunday.

A social media post later suggested Phil Jones joined in only to be told off by Manchester United director Ed Woodward saying ‘Stop we are on camera’  Several news outlets then repeated the allegation.

Jones was seen in the clip chewing gum and chatting to third-choice goalkeeper Lee Grant sat next to him.

Just after he was spotted shaking his head and muttering something Woodward turned around to talk.

In all likelihood, executive vice-chairman Woodward was talking to a female executive sitting out of shot, rather than Jones.

But it did not stop plenty of fans sharing their hilarious versions of how they think the conversation between Jones and Woodward went.
