Pablo Zabaleta says West Ham must be more clinical!
The Hammers have scored just twice this season, and only once from open play.
And as a vital clash with Wolves looms, Zaba has called on the club’s attackers to start hitting the back of the net with more regularity, particularly after the 3-1 Carabao Cup thumping of Wimbledon.
“We conceded the first goal of the game and it was tough,” he told the club website.
“Them going down to ten men made it a little easier for us but we need to improve in the final third.
“We are creating so many chances and we need to be more clinical and of course improve on set plays too, because we conceded in the last game on a set play as well so we need to be stronger than that.”
The Hammers’ cause will be strengthened by the return of Marko Arnautovic, who is set to make a comeback from injury against the newly-promoted side.
