Zaba ready to let feet do the talking

Pablo Zabaleta has watched the World Cup from the comfort of  a TV studio and has enjoyed every minute of it.

However, he will soon be letting his feet do the talking rather than offering pundit’s words as he prepares to link up with Manuel Pellegrini next week after working under him at Manchester City.

The right back said: “I can’t wait to be back for pre-season next week and see all the lads again. I’m also looking forward to meeting Pellegrini again too.

“It’s been a good five weeks of rest, but now I’m mentally and physically fresh and read to go again!”

He told www.whufc.com : “I’m really enjoying my experience as a pundit. It’s really nice working alongside ex-football players and especially with Gary Lineker. I’ve always been a big fan of Match of the Day, so it’s a great pleasure to work alongside Gary.”

He has been pleased to see Chicharito playing well for Mexico declaring  “ I was happy to see him score his 50th goal for his country on Saturday. I wish them all the best in this tournament.”

  1. Good strong player is Zab-surprisingly fast over short distances for his age; strong and very fit! A real Hammers man; he will love playing under Pellegrini!
