Zabaleta understands West Ham fans frustration

Pablo Zabaleta has told the club’s website that he understands the frustration of fans but says everyone needs to pull together and be united.

Zaba told West Ham TV in Miami “It’s been a difficult season in terms of injuries and many things that sometimes have affected the team. To the fans all we can say is thanks for the great support they show week in and week out because they are amazing.”

“I do really understand sometimes the frustration of the fans when things don’t go like everyone expects, but I think those tough periods, we all need to be together. It’s the only reason to go forward, to be united. Us as players, we know we have to do better on the field.”

Hopefully, we can perform well enough to keep West Ham in the Premier League. We will try. We know we have to do better than we have done in the last three games.”

  1. I believe that it is crucial for us not to be relegated – we cannot just assume that we will bounce back like we did last time under BFS

The games against Southampton and Stoke are huge – win those and I think we will be safe – it could torpedo one or both of those sides and after watching Huddersfield against Palace I think that we should be able to overtake them (Huddersfield that is)

Let us hope that the fans at teh London stadium get behind the team and that Moyes and the boys deliver

    • Could not agree more. The next 2 home games will make or break us.How is the confidence?.We just cannot afford to fall behind in either match just because we know that the crowd could quite easily turn again and thats the last thing the team needs.Still think Stoke and Huddersfield will join West Brom in going down but we need to have Hernandez starting.Should have buried Burnley by half time last week but Moyes reluctance to start with a recognised striker was significant and proved the difference as they finished with 2 up top and we had Arnie completely isolated with no support chasing a lost cause.I just look at Blackpool and Sunderland to see how far you can plunge once you lose your premiership status and its frightening when no side no matter how big has the God given right to automatic promotion.
