Semi official West Ham spokesman Jack Sullivan has confirmed our first signing of summer. Young Jack has revealed that Mauro Zarate has signed a three year contract with West Ham with a further one year option.
No work permit is required as he has dual nationality, holding both an Italian and Argentine passport.
Mauro will wear the number 10 shirt vacated by Jack Collison and is widely respected as a player of serious creative and goal scoring ability. Earlier today ClaretandHugh had explained that fears were growing over the deal.
However, we have established how the deal happened and will be reporting later on the developments that led the 27 year old to the Boleyn.
