Zarate told: “Don’t become a moaner and groaner”

|

zarate actionMauro Zarate has been told not to become a moaner and groaner but take every opportunity he can to impress boss Sam Allardyce.

ClaretandHugh’s top analyst Leroy Rosenior has been following the growing Zarate clamour with interest and declares: “It’s too easy to chuck in the towel and look for a transfer and I hope he doesn’t do that.

“We all know he has some previous in that area but he’s now a lot more mature and playing for what has become a top club this season.

“There’s pressure and obviously he’s not the usual type of player you would see in a Sam Allardyce squad but the manager is no mug and will realise his qualities.

“Every player has to take the chances he gets and Mauro’s no different. So far he’s done that brilliantly.

“He looked a class act when he came on against Newcastle and scored at Everton – the manager will have seen it as well as everybody else.

“It is down to Mauro to keep on going and give his best. It would not be the right  to be looking for a move so soon after arriving and it also sends out the wrong messages to the market place.”

Leroy believes the player will see the season out and will get more chances as the team gets safer and it’s in the summer he should be looking at things.

He added: “Mauro needs to give himself a chance here. We are a club going places and I hope he feels he has a role to play and that the manager gives him the chance to prove it.”

Not when he’s a player he wanted and not when your as stubborn as Sam!
Any one who saw the Newcastle game will understand the game was crying out for him to come with poor old Andy c lost up front on his own.
He will be off in jan!

I am hoping this is just idle paper talk but these stories keep coming up.
The trouble is they aren’t going to go away while Sakho and Valencia are playing so well.

I believe zarate imo might have thought he was going go walk into our team on the back of an outstanding scoring record.

for me he is class but sometimes doesn’t work hard enough and has on occasion struggled with the physicality and intensity of the prem.

But with hard work he will be a success! However if he is going o mump and moan everytime things don’t go his way then he won’t be around long! COYI!
