Minutes from Newham’s London Stadium‘s Safety Advisory Group (LS-SAG) show that the group continue to be concerned about Persistent standing.

The minutes say that the Sports Grounds Safety Authority (SGSA) will receive monthly returns/reports of Persistent Standing game by game and that outcomes from the ‘Persistent Standing Workshop Group’ will be shared with Ann Ramage from SGSA.

At the beginning of this season the club wrote to sections of Bobby Moore lower warning that would be zero tolerance of persistent standing in sections 127 and 155.

The club emailed supporters over the summer in these two sections after renewing season tickets reminding that the London Stadium is a seater stadium and that sitting would be enforced by stewards and any non-compliance would results om further action being taken.

Supporters were offered a seat relocation by the ticket office which some season ticket holders took advantage before the start of the season.

Our sources in Booby Moore Lower sections 127 and 155 say West Ham supporters continue to stand despite the warnings, and little has changed this season since the season ticket communications.

If it was our ground, we would have safe standing implanted in these stands by now like other clubs and it wouldn’t be an issue.
Change the ground, not the supporters.

I’m a bit perplexed by this – I’m in the Bobby Moore lower, the entire stand has always stood up throughout the game, always has done? (although I’ve felt more like having a lie down in the Moyes era 🙂 )

What has happened to football man 🙁
