Zouma faces axe

|

Kurt Zouma faces being dropped from the West Ham team for tonight’s game against Watford after being filmed abusing his cat in a genuinely disgusting video.

The Sun reported that the France international subjected the animal to sickening violence, kicking it across the room and then slapping it in the face.

Zouma – set for return

The London Evening Standard now reports that he is expecting to be dropped from the team for the clash with the Hornets as the Hammers deliberate over which punishment to hit the ex-Chelsea star with.

He could be suspended or fined heavily but there have even been calls for him to be sacked by the club.

Zouma has issued an apology for his actions but he has been condemned by both West Ham and the RSPCA.

The Metropolitan Police will not be investigating the incident but the RSPCA have the power to prosecute individuals if they are proved to have acted illegally, and there are calls for them to launch a probe, per the report.

Don’t axe him and cover him up. Let him have to face the crowd and have to listen to what they have to say to him.

Couldn’t agree more, his actions were disgusting the way he did it was so casual it is possibly not the first time the poor cat has suffered that, certainly his laughing brother didn’t seem shocked and the poor child who must think this is normal. Why the police aren’t involved is beyond me, he is admitting guilt and it’s animal cruelty. Any pets he has should immediately be removed from him as that is not a safe household for them to live.

The club should sell him in the summer as he is a disgrace and not fit to wear our colours.

Leave him out the squad for a few games , get him to make multiple apologies and a large donation to animal welfare charity and hope he learns from his absolute stupidity… to me the slap was worse than the kick. With the kick he seemed to lift it with his foot and toss it rather than boot it but the slap was straight to the head .. absolutely disgraceful behaviour but not a sacking offence … i wish people would show the same outrage at the atrocities comitted against other human beings as much as animals… AND YES THE LIFE OF A HUMAN.. A CHILD ,A MAN OR WOMAN IS MORE PRECIOUS THAN AN ANIMAL …
