Zouma return

By Hughie Southon

Kurt Zouma is back in training with the first team squad this week as we head into the crunch meeting with Wolves at Molineux.

The central defender has recovered from his washout surgery on the knee which has troubled him from his Chelsea days.

But whether he will be fit to take his place alongside Nayef Aguerd in what looks likely to eventually be the Hammers first choice central defence remains to be seen.

A London Stadium insider revealed to ClaretandHugh this morning that the player is ready to return to full training.

However, it seems unlikely that manager David Moyes will risk him at this stage as a starter given he has now been absent for several weeks.

Aguerd looked in good form following his own injury problems at the World Cup and looks set to continue alongside Craig Dawson at the heart of the Hammers defence for the must win match.
