Zouma update

|

West Ham claim it’s too early to decide who badly injured Kurt Zouma may be after his late injury problem at Kidderminster yesterday (Sat).

The central defender appeared to twist his leg standing on the ball in the FA Cup win at Kidderminster and was struggling for the latter part of the match.

David Moyes claimed after the game that he was thought to be okay but maybe that judgement came a little too quickly.

And of course there is always the chance that he wanted to keep our Tuesday night opposition – Watford – guessing.

However, that remains the case anyway with the club having given us some sort of update in the last ten minute or so.

An insider told us: “It’s too early to say but it was his his ‘bad’ knee that was damaged.”

Zouma now seems likely to head for a scan ahead of the game against Watford before any decision can be made on his fitness.

Now the stupidity of not signing another centre half is apparent for all to see. How to throw it all away. Could be another 26 games or there abouts to play.If we got REALLY LUCKY. IF ZOUMA OUT AGAIN DRASTICALLY CUT GAME NUMBERS.

Zouma has a history of serious knee injury doesnt he? That’s the worry for me.
