Zouma’s back

Kurt Zouma is in the team against Eintracht Frankfurt this evening!

The Hammers face the German side in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final, against the Bundesliga side.

The France international has been injured since the game against Brentford and has returned to the starting XI against the German outfit.

Alphonse Areola takes over as keeper of course as has been the tradition throughout this season’s competition.

Ben Johnson plays at right-back, while Zouma is joined in defence by Craig Dawson. Aaron Cresswell plays at left-back.

In midfield, Declan Rice is joined by Tomas Soucek, as ever.

And providing support to Mikey Antonio are Jarrod Bowen, Manuel Lanzini, and Pablo Fornals.

Full West Ham XI: Areola; Johnson, Zouma, Dawson, Cresswell; Rice, Soucek; Bowen, Lanzini, Fornals; Antonio. Subs: Fabianski, Randolph, Alese, Coufal, Masuaku, Fredericks, Kral, Noble, Chesters, Vlasic, Benrahma, Yarmolenko.

  1. Great to see Zouma back, hope he is fine. I am shocked to see Johnson at RB ahead of Coufal, unless Coufal is injured it is a really strange decision especially as we are at home and will be on the front foot.
