Allardyce has pleasant selection headache

The Irons look highly likely to be injury free for the next game against Hull City on the 15th with the exceptions of Andy Carroll and Kevin Nolan.

ClaretandHugh understands that with the possible exception of James Collins (hamstring) and of course the skipper and central striker, Sam Allardyce will have a fully fit squad to choose from as he bids to get the season back on track.

It’s a pleasant headache for the manager who until now has been forced to play without key men.

Both Carl Jenkinson and Matt Jarvis have declared themselves fit after spells with injury along with Diafra Sakho who missed the last game against Southampton with a back injury

Enner Valencia is now thought to be up to full fitness as Allardyce shows his first choice X1 for the first time this season.

This of course all assumes there are no training ground injuries as has sometimes been the case in the past!
