Big Benrahma question follows Vlasic decision

There is a huge question over Said Benrahma’s future amid the Hammers’ decision on Nikola Vlasic.

The Irons have decided that the Croatian  can leave the club this summer should  a reasonable offer arrive on the table.

Torino are interested on negotiating a loan deal, but the Irons will need the Italian club to include an obligation to buy in the deal, or make a formal transfer bid.

The Hammers are happy to let Vlasic go provided their terms are met and Benrahma would subsequently see his future thrown into the spotlight.

He has struggled to find his best form and we know that boss David Moyes really isn’t a big fan of the Algeria international.

If a formal bid is tabled, there is every chance the Hammers would let Benrahma go, but that would leave three attacking midfielders in the squad: Jarrod Bowen, Manuel Lanzini and Pablo Fornals. Andriy Yarmolenko is leaving at the end of the month.

That simply isn’t enough depth and would mean Moyes needs to buy at least two more attacking midfielders this summer.

That is in addition to the need to sign a striker, a left-back, two or three central midfielders, depending on Tomas Soucek’s future, and a back-up goalkeeper.

Yeesh.
