The West Ham board meeting on 23rd May to decide the fate of Sam Allardyce will be attended by a life long West Ham fan called Daniel Harris.

Daniel Harris is a non executive director on the West Ham board representing a 3.8 per cent share holding owned by the Harris family and former Hammers Chairman Terry Brown.

In 2010 lifelong West Ham fans John Harris and his son together with Terry Brown invested £4 million into West Ham in return for one seat on the board.

The Harris family previously owned the Alba group, a consumer electronics company that included well known brand names including Alba, Bush, Grundig & Goodmans.

Daniel will be a good position to give an honest and frank view of  a West Ham fan at the crunch board meeting.
