Former Hammer Valon Behrami – reportedly unhappy at Naples – will not be making a return to the Boleyn.

The Swiss midfielder – currently being linked with Spurs – is refusing to discuss a possible Premier League return until after the World Cup.

The midfielder – whose  tackle in the build-up to the winning goal in Sunday’s World Cup game against  Ecuador was arguably the best defensive action of his career – was a very unhappy Hammer in 2011 after three years and 63 appearances for the club

His departure came as he claimed home sickness which eventually saw the Hammers take a £3.3 million loss on the fee they paid Lazio.

Behrami was sold to Fiorentiana after he refused to play claiming he was injured and needed an operation.

He has been linked to Spurs but has dismissed transfer talk and a return to the Premier League until after the tournament.

Now he is said to  be unhappy at Napoli with limited opportunities in the first team under Rafa Benetiz.

” He is also upset he has been robbed twice in Naples.  He was robbed at gunpoint by two men on a scooter of his £5,000 Hublot watch as he sat in his car and this year he had his car stolen.

A source told Claret and Hugh exclusively “He’d never play for us again under any circumstances !”
