Ipswich coach to join Hammers

Ipswich Town Academy U16s coach Liam Manning is set to join West Ham United’s youth set-up, according to fan site  www.twtd.co.uk  Manning, whose role at Ipswich was lead youth development phase coach, is to take on a role working with the West Ham’s U15s to U18s.

The 29-year-old former Ipswich midfielder was with the academy as a youngster but left the club without making a first-team appearance and went on to play locally for the likes of Leiston and Woodbridge Town.

Terry Westley is in the process rebuilding the West Ham Academy to make it successful again and give a return on the £4m plus invested in it each year.
