Lee missing from NZ squad

Elliot Lee is a notable absentee from the Hammers squad which has flown into New Zealand for the start of the pre-season tour.

A mix of regular first teamers plus the new signings – along with some promising youngsters have made the trip.

Lee is the only surprise omission and the full squad is as follows: Kevin Nolan (captain), Mark Noble (vice captain), Winston Reid, Aaron Cresswell, James Tomkins, Matt Jarvis, Cheikhou Kouyate, Andy Carroll, Mauro Zarate, Stewart Downing, Ricardo Vaz Te, Adrian, Joey O’Brien. James Collins, Guy Demel, Mohamed Diame, Jussi Jaaskalainen Diego Poyet, Carlton Cole, Daniel Potts, Sam Howes, Daniel Whitehead, Matthias Fanimo and Leo Chambers.
