West Ham are unable to recall Diego Poyet to Upton Park to easy their injury problems.

The young midfielder has been loaned out to Huddersfield and with no release clause in place the Hammers will have to rely on the players they have avaialble.

A source told ClaretandHugh: “It would of course have been an answer but there’s no release clause in place so we must just get on with it.”

The 19 year old is due to return to the Hammers on December 6.

Club officials  are keeping their injury worries very much to themselves and even the usually informative www.physioroom.com gives no return dates for Diafra Sakho, Stewart Downing, Enner Valencia, Chiekhou Kouyate, Alex Song and Mark Noble.

However, as regularly reported here, Kouyate is expected to be avaialble for the weekend visit of Alan Pardew’s in form Newcastle.
