Ravel: It looks all over…

Ravel Morrison appears to have played his last game for West Ham.

The midfielder –  due back at Upton Park on Boxing Day after a disappointing loan spell at Cardiff City – is not going to receive a new contract offer from the Irons board.

And with only a couple of weeks left before his return, ClaretandHugh has learned there has been little new  interest from anywhere  in taking the player on loan after separate spells at Queens Park Rangers and now with City.

Both Burnley and Leicester City were believed to be interested and ClaretandHugh learned that there had been a “careful” inquiry from Celtic but there has been no follow-up over recent days.

The life and times of Ravel Morrison have dominated the headlines at the club for too long as far as West Ham bosses are concerned,

And one club source told us: “A new contract offer is  as unlikely as it gets. The club will listen to offers for a loan or permanent move and if none are forthcoming there’s a decision to be made.”
