West Ham are ready to cash in on Ravel Morrison should they receive an acceptable offer for the England under-21 midfielder in January.

Morrison – taken to Cardiff City by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as an expressive midfielder – may have suffered via a change of manager at the Bluebirds where new boss Rusell Slade plays a more physical game.

And the player has also suffered from a knee injury which Upton Park sources insisted to ClaretandHugh a few minutes ago are now sorted out.

We were told by a well placed source inside the club: “It wasn’t a major problem and is now sorted it certainly wouldn’t be a problem to a loaning or buying club.

He confirmed the the Irons are ready to listen to both loan or permanent deal offers for the midfielder with  his contract running out in the summer.

He explained that with the player available on a free in the summer it makes sense to listen to offers for the player.
