Reece Burke may be called up to start against Queens Park Rangers this afternoon.

Word from inside the club was this morning that Winston Reid pulled up with a new hamstring injury towards the end of training yesterday and that may well give Burke his chance

He is expected to be joined in the squad by Reece Oxford and Josh Cullen as the Hammers look for a much needed victory.

A source said: “The three are all likely to be included and Reece has a chance of starting. It’s down to the manager now.

“The normal procedure would be for Cheik Kouyate to move into the back line and that’s still possible but there’s some optimistic talk that Reece will be called up.

The 18 year old’s only appearance in the first team was in the Capital One cup clash against Sheffield United last August.
