The Irons Feelgood Factor’s back!

Dynamic Diafra Sakho grabbed his fifth Hammers  goal as the Hammers scored put together their first back to back Boleyn wins since February.

Sakho was named man of the match as the Irons went into the international break sitting in a lofty seventh place with 10 points from our seven outings.

That puts us one point behind Spurs and ahead of Arsenal on goal difference – the Feelgood Factor is well and truly back around the Boleyn.

Apart from 10 minutes at the start of the second half after the Irons had dominated Rangers throughout the first half, we were in total control of a match which perhaps we should have won even more comfortably.

To put the icing on the cake former boss was beaten for only the second time since he left the club.

The Hammers were never truly at their best and compared to the Liverpool victory this was workmanlike rather than expansive but a really poor Rangers team were never really good enough.

The opening goal came after five minutes when Onuoah turned into his own next from a Downing corner and Sakho sealed the points with a header from a yard.

It could have been more when the team put a great move down the left saw Downing turn the ball inside to sub Kevin Nolan but his shot was well saved by Rob Green.

The Hammers are unlikely to enjoy a more comfortable victory all season. Rangers were seriously poor!
