Asked about Diafra Sakho’s exit by reporters Moyes replied

“When I arrived at the club they told me Diafra would go in January, it took a bit longer in January than we expected but in the end, it looks as if it’s happened and everything is done.”

Asked whether anyone else go in this window?

“Possibly. You know the way football is, we have had offers from clubs and whether those offers improve then it might make things look like it but other than that, we are getting to the end and we’ll be glad when it’s offer.”

On transfers Moyes added:

“We had priorities and we still have. The priorities is to add good players to your squad, but you don’t want to add players who are just going to make the numbers up and sound good because you media boys need a name brought up.Ultimately we are short of players right now so we could do with adding to it but I am not going to bring in anyone that won’t help the team, it’s a waste of money and time, we want to bring people in who can contribute between now and the end of the season, if not longer.”
