West Ham their second US tour pre season match in the early hours of this morning against the Carolina Railhawks.

Unluckily for West Ham, a failed clearance by Winston Reid in the 13th minute resulted in a West Ham own goal and a 1-0 lead for the Railhawks. Five minutes later, Reid redeemed himself by gathering a loose ball and scoring to make it all level at 1-1. The Hammers grabbed the 2-1 advantage in the 21st minute, when Andy Carroll tapped in a Sofiane Feghouli pass for an easy goal.

The game was stopped in the 63rd minute because of a storm and threat of lighting. Once play resumed, Carolina equalized after Lewis Page handballed in the area. Marvin Ceballos converted from the penalty spot to make the final score 2-2 final.
