Video: The David Moyes interview

West Ham manager David Moyes speaks to Richard Keys and Andy Gray via Skype in a twenty-minute interview which can be seen below. Moyes is quizzed about leaving West Ham the first time around but says he is not bitter and holds no resentment to the board saying not a lot had moved on since he left. The gaffer tells viewers that West Ham players are not on holiday and that they all have personal fitness programmes set by the medical team in case they get a call to return to football at short notice.

The Scotsman also speaks about the addition of Kevin Nolan to his backroom team and how that has helped him communicate to the players with the advantage of someone who really knows his way around the club.

The Hammers manager says he is concerned about possible injuries if the Premier League has a short period of intense training followed by a concentrated fixture list to get the season done.

Moyes signs off saying he believes he now a better coach now than when he left Everton explaining coaching has changed and quoted his wide experience.
