The single minded central defender – having decided he wouldn’t undergo surgery on his knee injury earlier and making a rapid return – has decided against a scan following a late problem against Kidderminster.
It was believed the player would need to be scanned but has decided against it and instead is making himself available for the game .
It will come as a big relief to all of us who probably felt that he was a doubtful starter for the game after hobbling towards the end of Saturday’s game and seeming reluctant to receive the ball.
However we have learned this morning that he considers himself in good shape and ready to play if selected for the game against the Hornets.
It means then changes at the back will be the reintroduction of Vladi Coufal with Dawson joining Zouma at the heart of defence.
