Hammers spending rising and rising

West Ham have committed to spend up to £54.5m for the first three signings of the summer.

Nayef Aguerd is said to cost £28m in transfer fees in paid in instalments to Rennes with another £3.5m in potential performance-based add-ons with the total fee up to £31.5m

Signing Alphonse  Aréola cost the Hammers a £7.5m transfer fee to PSG with a further £3.5m in potential add-ons talking the potential fee to £11m

Flynn Downes is reported to have cost the Irons £9.5m with a potential £2.5m to Swansea over the life of his contract costing up to £12m.

The next primary target is though to be Armando Broja who David Moyes hopes to land for £25m plus £5m of add-ons.

That would bring spending to £84,5m after four signings, with hopefully, many more to come.

The Hammers are thought to have £100m-£150m in a transfer kitty plus the offer from Daniel Kretinsky to loan more if needed.

David Moyes would also be able to re-invest any proceeds from any outbound sales with Issa Diop and Nikola Vlasic on sale for £15m each and Tomas Soucek potentially
