£30m Iron may be facing Hernadez fate

The time has come to wonder what the future may hold for Said Benrahma at the London Stadium.

There are many who believe he still has much to offer – others feel he is not good enough and yet more who feel he simply he could be on his way in the summer.

His appearance at Anfield yesterday after  Jarrod Bowen was forced out of the action was quite simply horrifying.

It’s impossible to remember a single moment when he offered anything whatsoever and to be using such words as ‘potential’ about a player who cost £30 million is frankly absurd.

He is one of three in a small squad whose futures are surrounded by more questions than answers – Kral and Vlasic are the others – and personally I wonder how much longer he can be carried.

He’s not shown himself to be much more than an expensive passenger – an arrival which shows the absurdity of the price tags carried by some players.

When one studies the type of player to which Moyes is clearly attracted – physical and aggressive types it’s tricky working out where he goes next with him.

Remember Javier Hernández!

Personally I wouldn’t be surprised to see him leave in the summer unless there is a rapid improvement over the remainder of the season
