Neville

Whatever else may happen at least it’s Amazon day!

Thankfully we get a break from the often deadly dull pundits with Gary Neville in particular being a chief offender in my book.

And it also gives us an indication of how many would like TV coverage to be on a permanent basis,  with every game being shown officially on the box.

I watched the Newcastle v Manchester United game on Sky last night and was appalled AGAIN with the contribution from Neville.

As is usually the case he was once again used as what is supposed to be a neutral pundit but spent 90 per cent of his time whinging like some one eyed fan about his former team’s performance.

Honestly, you had to remind yourself that Newcastle had been on the pitch and deserved far more comment than he was prepared to give them.

We’ve all experienced much the same from him when being involved in Manchester united and West Ham games.

Thankfully there will be little of the same when Amazon become involved this afternoon and for me I’d love to see them put in a big enough bid next time round to free  us of sky and their regular cast of characters.
