Adrian makes his feelings known

Adrian has made it clear he could be on his way from West Ham unless they start challenging for more than Premier League survival.

The goalkeeper is heading into talks with the club who hold an option on him this summer but the 30 year has made it clear he wants to know where and how quickly the club intends to start challenging.

And in a frank interview with Estadio Deportivo  he is reported as saying: “I want to know the intentions of the club about me and see their project.

We must fight for higher targets and not just for staying in the Premier League. This is my fourth season here and I want to fight for something else.”

Although he is now back in the manager’s plans, the Spaniard may have become unsettled after being dropped for an extended period in favour of Darren Randolph and talks are likely to be more difficult given that and the fact the Hammers the club is looking for fresh blood between the sticks anyway.
