Adrian produces a wonderful farewell message
After six years at the club, the 32 year old will finally take up life with a new club this summer but few former Hammers have produced quite the goodbye that the Spaniard has presented to the fans today.
He provided many amazing moments in his Hammers prime and was entirely uncomplaining when things turned against him later.
First Darren Randolph was preferred before Joe Hart (sigh) and of curse the outstanding Lukasz Fabianski kept him in the West Ham shadows.
Many would hve been be happy to walk away with a wave to the crowd and a “thanks for the good times” message but not Adrian.
Instead he has worn his heart on his sleeve and produced a wonderful statement on a photo of himself (above) which demonstrates just how much this club has meant to him .
He explains how he had always hoped to remain with us in what is a really hearfelt statement on his time at the club.
