Adrian sends upbeat message

Adrian has sent a timely reminder to the Hammers doubters that “we are the same same group of players with some new signings” as last season.

And he added: “I think we have a stronger squad than last season, when we have all our players fit.”

Unhappy at the last minute defeat against Chelsea, the keeper said: “That was painful for us, but we know that we can play better than that against Bournemouth today.

“It’s our first game at our new home in the Premier League and so we are really going to try to win the three points with our fans behind us. We are prepared for this and are looking forward to today’s game.

“We may have lost the first game, but today is a great opportunity for us to go out and get the win that we are looking for.”
