Albian Ajeti is no rush to seal his move out of West Ham says his agent speaking to the Scottish Daily Record

West Ham and Celtic agreed on a loan with a £4.5m option to buy but the player failed to agree on personal terms with the Scottish Premiership club. Ajeti has flown back to Switzerland on holiday to take time out to consider his next move after a disappointing season with the Hammers following his £7.8million switch from Basle last summer.

Ajeti’s agent Arber Sakiri has refused to discuss the interest from Celtic when contacted by The Record Sport and offered no further updates on the position regarding his client’s next move.

He said: “For the moment, there is nothing to say. He is still a player of West Ham. It is normal that we have some calls here and some calls there and people are talking about this. It is also normal that people are talking about something and some interest here or there, maybe that’s true. From our side, there is nothing to say.”

Ajeti’s wages are thought to be stumbling block with the player keen to earn a similar wage that could be earned in the Premier League.
