An insult to believe boss will have players foisted on him
She’s feisty, sarky and straight to the point which is why she’s ClaretandHugh’s main Facebook Group admin person and top moderator on the website.Caz Combes doesn’t understand, or start to tolerate BS, as she makes perfectly clear in her latest and rare appearance as a blogger on the site where she lets loose on the age old,and oh so tedious arguments, presented by a small section of fans.

So, here we are, ‘silly season’ again!
The world is full of rumours, some will become fact, most will not!
Pellegrini – the most acclaimed manager in our history and one unlikely to have his judgement questioned.
We have a new manager AND a Director of Football, so many of our fans should be feeling happy and positive, right? You’re ‘aving a laugh!
Despite the fact that Pellegrini has stated that he has made his list of ‘wanted’ players, every name mentioned, that someone doesn’t agree with, isn’t Pellegrini’s choice but someone thrust on him by the board!
I sometimes wonder if some fans are either unable to type anything but moans, they don’t stop to think, or maybe don’t like being positive?
Pellegrini is a manager of, (yes, my opinion!), the highest calibre that this club has ever had. He has stated that he has spoken to the owners many times over the years, has seen almost all our games last season.
That said, he would have known EXACTLY what he was going in to, and what HE wanted to do with the club to achieve his targets.
He is a very clever, experienced, manager who wanted, and has got, the Director of Football he decided on.
It is an insult to think that this man would be made to accept players he does not want. He did not HAVE to come to us, he chose to and no doubt, on his terms! He has earned that, through his achievements and I can see no reason why he would settle for less than his own terms.
The fans that moan when we are linked with a player they don’t like; are the same ones that will moan if we get a player over 27 years, but also complain that Collins wasn’t kept!
Maybe give yourselves a rest, give the new season a chance and support the club-you just might feel happy sometimes!
