A new report has emerged this morning that David Moyes could be tempted to to recall Felipe Anderson from FC Porto should his poor start at the club continue.

However, ClaretandHugh has had it confirmed this morning that Hammers fans in general – there are some of course who appreciate the player – can relax as there is no release clause within the loan deal.

Thus far the Brazilian has played only around 40 minutes for the club since joining on loan with a £1 million fee attached to the arrangement.

There was no option agreed that the deal should become permanent at the end of the season and already it appears the Brazilian is finding life pretty tough in Portugal.

So any thoughts that Moyes may have had of bringing him back in an emergency or for any other reason ppear to be dead in the water.

Anderson was excluded from the squad which beat Marseilles 3-0 in the Champions League game last night but logically that may have been cause by a small injury.
